But brookpaw isn't happy with that. She wants to be a warrior. She wants to change the code.

"Brookkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Brookpaw. Your mentor will be Dawnclaw. I hope Dawnclaw will pass down all she knows on to you.

Dawnclaw, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Fawnlight, and you have shown yourself to be Kind and Brave. You will be the mentor of Brookpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Brookpaw." Cloudstar yells loudly

Brookpaw stands there awkwardly, instead of thouching noses with her mentor she looks at Cloudstar "uh cloudstar... I wish to train as a warrior. Not a queen." She said in a brave voice that cracked slightly at the end.All Rights Reserved
