There was always one thing most demons and creatures of the supernatural wanted; and that was always power. Malum Nightshade was no different- he was a half demon, half human hybrid. Too both the supernatural and human world, he was a threat...a threat that had to be brought down.
For centuries he had been searching, searching for the thing that would make him the most powerful being in the universe. That thing has been entrusted to a family of hunters for generations. He ambushes the house and kills the two families.
He searched the whole house and instead of finding what he was looking for he found a child.
A child that reminded him of himself in a way.
A child who could be easily tempted.
A child who was blissfully unaware.
He takes the child; not even bothering to look for the Jewel of Equitum. The jewel that would bring hell on earth.
He leaves behind his downfall.
The little girl who was hidden in the floorboards, who watched her family get murdered and her best friend kidnapped.
The little girl with a vengeance streak that could last a lifetime.
The little girl who would do anything for her best friend, the best friend she was forced to forget.
Even if she doesn't remember her best friend she remembers the man who killed her family.
Memories or not she would find a way to kill that demon. She will find away to get vengeance. Because, after all, vengence is a woman's justice.
