Ever wonder what a winter fling is like around the holidays? Well, a 17-year-old Ohio girl named Morgan has been like that when The Vamps' drummer Tristan came into wintry Ohio.

Morgan starts out as a loner when your friends have dates for her school Winter Formal. She doesn't like being a third wheel when it comes to dances like this. Thanks to the principal and some of her teachers, they contacted The Vamps' drummer, Tristan Evans, about the dance and he accepted as long as he brings along his three bandmates.

The Winter Formal is in a month, so Morgan and Tristan has to get to know each other prior to the dance. They went on a few dates before the dance, and they instantly fall in love with each other. They have a lot in common after playing "20 Questions" while drinking hot chocolate at Morgan's house in rural Tuscarawas County.

Will Tristan and Morgan be Ohio's "Power Couple" at the Dover High School Winter Formal dance? Will you support #Trorgan?

Elena and Cara Morales are the infamous twins of Mark Morales - the governor of California. Now, while they both may be related, like most twins, they couldn't be any more different. Elena was seen as an elite, social butterfly - she's kissed more boys than she can count on her fingers, she's taken part in tons of high school clubs and groups, she has a never-ending list of friends as well as a never-ending amount of Twitter followers, and not to forget, she had the bassist of band 5 Seconds of Summer wrapped around her finger. Yeah, she was dating Calum Hood. Cara was nothing but mediocre - nothing that could even somewhat be compared to her twin. She was ordinary and indifferent and was a half-melted scoop of vanilla ice cream amongst a ton of other wild and unheard of flavors. Kissing (unless it was the asses of her teachers), Popularity, Boys, and Fun weren't words she was familiar with in the slightest - she was outcasted, canceled out. Simple as that. After Elena suddenly goes missing and a secret search party is sent out to look for her, Cara is asked to finally put herself to good use by participating in what they called The Replacement Project. She was to play the role of her sister in order to save the reputation of her family, knowing that if the public were to find out the governor of California actually allowed his daughter to go missing, the entire family would collapse into a pile of ash. It was a solid plan - nobody would suspect a thing. There was only one, underlying rule - don't fall in love with the boy who wasn't really yours to begin with.

When Tristan and Catherine meet, he immediately possesses her body, soon wants her mind, but has no interest in her heart. Nor his. While he happily feeds a darkness within him, she nervously runs from a past that predates her birth. Love, nice and stable are not even on the radar . . . **************** Catherine physically escapes her dark past only to realize that the running in her mind, however, has not ended, and that, in order to cope with this continued racing away from a past that she refuses to recall, and from another that she could never fathom to be her own, strong emotions must never possess her. Remaining "even" must therefore be her normalcy. Even. In order that she not emotionally swing from one extreme to another, and then catastrophically lose all of herself with the momentum. Even. Because she believes that people suffer bad luck, or even die, when she is not. When her self-imposed limited existence is nevertheless breached by Tristan, he owns no white horse, although he is seen upon one professionally, and he behaves in no way with chivalry, although he does own a suit of it for show. He, however, uses neither with her. He possesses her. He immediately sets new rules for her in his world, harsh ones, and she has no choice but to obey them. Him. Soon enough, however, what begins to matter most is that she no longer runs alone, even if now being chased by their blend of demons. What begins to matter even more is that he may know where the finish line is, and be strong enough to guide them there, eventually, with her as his muse, as his reason to want to reach it. (P.S. Tristan first appears in chapter Four . . . )
