Jax is an ordinary girl, except for the fact that she's living with the hottest guy in school because she's an orphan. She's had many struggles since her parents died, but living with Jacob has taken a load off. One thing that's bothering her, though, are the events surrounding her parent's death. The accident is seeming to be less of an accident. As she searches for information, strange things start occurring in her town. With everyone thinking she's gone completely insane, will she end up finding what she needs? Or will she end up like her parents?
