This story is not affiliated with the story the 5th Wave in anyway, begins with the same structure but ends differently. 
Set during present day in an AU. Clint Hill happens to live under his aunt's care as she looks over him. Raised as an orphan, his mother abandoned him because of his heritage and the black tattoo marks on his lower chest. It isn't till a series of alien strikes upon both the Western and Eastern Hemisphere of the planet called Earth does he finally test himself. Clint, taking his adoptive sister, escape barely into the burning wreckage of their home into the wilderness. But his loyalties and everything that he has questioned about himself and his heritage is about to forever tested. //still thinking about making this a trilogyAll Rights Reserved
