Catherine has cancer. Caught in a self-conscious pendulum being what it means to be living, and dying, The Cost of Loving Catherine is a dialogue between two lovers still trying to explore what love is, and if it’s worth for the sake of their uncertain and impending future.
A work in progress, but I thought I'd share.

Then she saw "him" in the school hallways. The boy. Although he seemed different, less warm, more cold. It was like he put up a façade and barricaded his true self. My heart started racing, so I took a deep breath and I sat on the railing. I began to gaze at the full moon. A cold gust of wind blew across my face and made goosebumps form on my forearms.
