As he picked up the pile of mail, his attention was caught by the text written on the top letter; addressing to Dixon, John at Charleston Prison.
His eyes widened as he tore the envelope open and read the letter.
A thrill pulsed through Wilson's veins and he squeezed his fingers tightly into his palm. Chucking the mail down, some flying off the desk, he scrambled out the door.

This story is about a young woman named Clara Larson, a 21 year old who escaped her abusive high school sweetheart. On a cold night Clara was out at a bar parking lot sitting in her boyfriend's car, waiting patiently as he purchased more beer inside. Clara had been desperately wanting to escape for weeks due to the abuse of her boyfriend & something about that night encouraged Clara that if she didn't attempt to leave this time, he'd come close to killing her or "actually" kill her. Clara needed a plan away from the man who managed to convince her that life was nothing without him. With her long over due prayers they were finally answered that faithful night. Clara encountered 7 men standing beside the car & desperate as Clara was, she decided that this was her time to shine, the abuse needed end. With the simple whisper of "Help" she managed to get attention from 1 out of the 7 men.
