Imagine the world after a war, a war that destroyed everything you've ever known, this war destroyed countries, cities, and continents. This story takes place in the future, remember The hunger games? this is worse.
After the war destroyed everything, the government "The capitol" reconstructed 12 Countries, each Country has 6 cities, so 72 cities, in each city there is ONE school, which we call quarters. Think of a test, a test that declares if you live or not, this is a test that grades 6 to 12 take, after the test, the principal of the school, will take the worst two marks of each grade, this 12 kids will turn into a team, every team
represents each quarter, this 72 teams will go trough training for 2 weeks, after the training all the teams together will be taken to the arena where they will be going through twelve faces, faces where they will try to survive, as the team goes through the faces people will die until there are 6 teams with 2 teammates left , there they will fight to death, until there is one winner.
People gave it the name of the cutting, where only the smart people get to live.
