We met during the war, I was trying to run. I knew that I was in great danger, but Ross kept me safe. I refused to talk to any of his men, desperate to keep my true identity hidden. I had been kept as prisoner at first, but over time things changed. I fell in love.
It's been over two years since the war ended. We are our own Nation, my relatives amount those who run the country.
For two years, I grieved Ross's death. I've dodged scandalous rumors about what I had gone through during the war. I had a close friend living in London, Angelica Schuyler Church.
But when I go to visit her, I learn life-altering news. Ross Poldark is alive. But what will people think? A British Captain who had fallen in love with George Washington's niece?
