"You have no idea how much I crave you," Caliban's bright icy blue eyes bore into my bright yellow ones.
"W-what do you mean?" I stutter.
Caliban moves closer, and I instinctively take a step back. My back bumps against a tree, his hands caging me in as he looms over me like a predator. He bends down until his mouth is hovering over my ear.
"What I mean, princess, is that my fangs ache for your throat. My skin begs to be against yours. For my lips to take away every last breath. I crave you so much it's intoxicating," he breathes out, his chest rising and falling rapidly. He moves his head to look into my eyes.
I hesitate for a moment, but then that hesitation quickly fades as I speak. "Then do it."
He searches my face for any sign of doubt, and when he finds none, he opens his mouth. "Turn around."
