As her flames are extinguished, she again falls unconscious. After a rocky start with the Avengers, she found exactly the people to help her haunt the monsters of her past. "I am the monster they made, the monster they are not allowed to forget." And she finds (steamy) love with Natasha Romanoff. Phoenix is an old character of mine, who has been with me for about 15 years. She once was in a world of make belief for me, but now she has found, where she belongs.
