Once Upon An Arrow

There was a time when highly skilled assassins were referred to as Hunters. The scars left by that title can still be seen years after the war has forced them into hiding. Though their renown remained strong, they had to lower themselves to the level of mercenaries, dealing with small problems across multiple kingdoms. So when a familiar eagle is sent to the head of the Hunters, the scale of the mission is obvious, and who better to send than their long forgotten niece?

Prince Nathaniel is to be wed soon, however there was a sudden spike in threats, some even succeeded. The King became more depressed as every single troop he sent after the barbarians came home empty handed. His wife, the Queen, sensing his distress released her favourite eagle with a sealed letter, hoping to find those that were once so dear to her.
