Legend has it, that one day, all whisperers will be exposed, and humans will not rest until every superior creature is terminated. One destroyer and only one person can stop it. There will be complications; the world’s fate would depend on one person’s decision. Will that one person be able to save the world? Or will she destroy it?
Nat is the most powerful whisperer in the history of the world. But one person thinks she should be dead, when Jake comes around to kill her, he realises that she means too much to him. He couldn’t lose her again. So instead worrying about how to kill her, he focuses on trying to get her ready for when she grows up. But time is running out for Jake, without him realising it. And he won’t be able to help Nat anymore. So it’s all up to her to save the world, her friends, and herself. But Nat is only a child. Will she be able to do it?

A retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth, a story of fate, the struggle for power, and love found in the most unexpected places. ***** Persephone has been raised in Olympus all her life - her mother absent, her father a cruel king, with her siblings teaching her all they know. She has seen all of what the gods and goddesses do and she is sick of it. When she learns her safety is threatened by staying in Olympus, she flees to the Underworld. There she stays until she learns that her leaving has caused the world to wilt. But leaving behind her newfound friends and Lady of the Underworld is something she will not do willingly, no matter the consequences.
