"They are all innocent until proven guilty. But not me. I am a liar until I am proven honest."
― Louise O'Neill, Asking For It

When He confesses to his school that he's been raped, who is to be believed and who is lying through their teeth? The boy who is the best pitcher in the state could never be over powered, by a woman at that. He had to like it, no matter how many times he said no or bit back his tears.

Boys are supposed to be built of cold and hard steel, but this boy is pure glass, waiting to shatter. Boys are never supposed to shatter, they can't even dent . They feel nothing, not even pain.

Then he is not a boy.
