But I'm dying and I don't want to be, but the choice isn't mine to make. My body- my heart has made up its mind, I'm going to die, I just have to accepting it. And if I'm going to die, I want to be remembered, I want them to visible see my face, feel my touch and hear my voice from my final hours of living. You know, those things that only powerful people can make up? Yeah. Those. They were the beginning of everything that ever went wrong in my life, but also the thing that led me to the end. Although, I didn't know that at the time, so a few bruises and kisses down the line, I found myself faced with a big problem. I had to choose between three people, all of whom had been lying about everything for months. That wasn't an easy task for someone like me, but the biggest issue? For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person.
