"Masak apa, Yang?" tanya bapaknya anak-anak saat aku selesai masak.

"Kalio Hati," jawabku bangga. Masakan istimewa.

Rupanya dia penasaran, dan langsung menuju dapur. Istrinya kan tidak pernah masak Kalio Hati. 

"Bukannya Terong?" teriaknya dari dapur.

"Auk ah. Gelap," jawabku sebal. 

Mosok masak hati dibilang terong. Dari sudut mana pun kan beda. Baik warna, bentuk, dan rasanya. 
...
Hari ini.

"Hari ini masak apa, Bune?" Pertanyaan rutin suami usai aku masak.

"Sambal Goreng Hati,"

"Asyik. Aku suka." Komentarnya. Lalu bergegas mengambil nasi, dan berjalan ke dapur mengambil lauk.

Tidak lama kemudian dia masuk, dan menyodirkan piring berisi nasi dan sepotong sayur terong yang cukup besar ke arahku.

"Ini sambal goreng hati??"

"Iya," jawabku sambil tertawa.

"Kok Terong?"

"Kan sudah tukar nama. Kemarin aku masak kalio hati, dibilang terong. Apa salahnya kalau sayur terong hari ini aku namakan sambal goreng hati?"

"Ya sudah. Ini aku juga suka kok," komentarnya pasrah. Untung dia benar-benar suka. Buktinya setelah nasi di piring habis, dia nambah lagi.
