remember short story

Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed. 


While looking at the gravestone in front of me, I suddenly thought if their family just put these words for a show. Do they miss their dead relatives or family? I wonder if they always think of them like how they love being with them when they're alive, how they miss their presence and the day is not the same anymore without them. 


It's nice how people always remember you, without having tears in their eyes but with the smile they always wear when you are with them. I hope they will always remember me, even if I'm dead or alive. I hope they will remember that there is Kate in their life. Because it hurts to be forgotten.

Hoping that this isn't real even though the coldness of the metal of the gun under my throat was cold enough to send shivers to my spine. It was cold enough to remind me that the reality I am hoping is the real fantasy. "I can't love you and I can't even bear the thought of loving you. Do you believe that when someone dies, their soul goes to heaven or hell based on their deeds during life? Can the soul be judged immediately on where it deserves to go? But is heaven and hell truly real? Where do rested souls reside? If so, why do some souls remain restless and wander the earth? What do they want? Rebirth? Redemption? Another chance to live a life? Can the deceased find closure through regret? People tend to say, 'yes. There are heaven and hell, where souls reside based on their deeds when they were alive. ' What can you say about it? What's your thoughts? As for me, to see is to believe. Why would I believe those who said that there is really heaven and hell where souls reside? Why? Did they ever got there? How can they say that it's true when they're still alive, breathing and living? Unless for me, I can't tell why are they still here. Roaming around like they're still alive. Some souls doesn't know that they're dead. Some souls only wants closure. Some souls remains here, as their death wasn't found out. As if waiting to be found for them to enter to the other side. Some souls keeps bothering me. They're appearing to me, perhaps because I possess a third eye, a unique ability to perceive them. Regular people can't see them, just those with abilities like mine. This ability isn't a gift for me. For me, this is a nightmare. A nightmare I can never escape or forget.

Dearest First Love, I never thought I'd always be thinking of you. You were the best thing that ever happened to me. I never run past a day not thinking about you nor regretting about how we end up separated. I have loved you and I still do. But sometimes, my heart just feels like you were never really meant to stay and sometimes it wishes for you to come back. I can never really tell when my heart is certain because now and then it changes its mind and I can only wish that whatever it may feel from time to time, I hope it will end up happy and contented. I know moving on is such a long process and a hard one but I want to try to move on because I want to forget about all the unnecessary emotions I have inside and I also wish I could live a life of happiness and love.
