Benedict Huntley's reign has ended. The Essence Machine is no more. And the Elemental families have flourished. It appears all is well.

But with a single telegram, lives are upended and the quiet of the years since Huntley's fall is once again disrupted. The Elementals are suddenly thrust into a world of danger once again. None too surprisingly, Peter and Charlotte Haywood, children of Emma Haywood and Christopher Wellington, find themselves caught up in the whirlwind. And so too, it seems, is the reclusive Duke of Tonbridge...who hides secrets of his own.

And soon enough, the promise of a war is brewing on the horizon, one that will not only pull the Elementals into, but the rest of the world. The changes it brings are unfathomable.

Born into the prestigious and feared House of Black, Cassiopeia Walburga Black is not just the eldest daughter of Walburga and Orion-she is their first heir. From the moment of her birth, Cassiopeia is trapped under the crushing weight of her family's dark legacy, forced to embody the pure-blood ideals of an ancient, unforgiving lineage. Within the cold, shadowed halls of Grimmauld Place, her childhood is anything but innocent. Taught advanced magic beyond her years and molded by her father's obsession with dark magic, Cassiopeia grows up in an environment that offers neither warmth nor love. Her parents, publicly poised and superior, are privately cruel and demanding, shaping her into a tool for the Black family's ambitions. While other children dream of freedom, Cassiopeia's world is one of strict obedience, wandless magic drills, and relentless expectations. As her parents' cold hands guide her every step, Cassiopeia begins to realize that her greatest battle may not be against the darkness of the magical world-but against the darkness that has taken root within her own home. A tale of trauma, power, and survival, this story delves into the shadowed life of a child born into a family where love is a luxury, and power is everything. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marauders era Being updated regularly First book in the duology (I do not own any Harry Potter original characters or plots. (Book 1) Elleanora Carter has been living with her grandfather, Professor Digory, from the tender age of 8 years old. Since arriving at the manor that was now her home, her overwhelming curiosity dug at her, discovering hidden secrets among the manor and her family line, as well as a large chest which she couldn't find the key to as hard as she looked. After 3 years of living with her grandfather and the start of the Second World War, Elleanora receives a telegram from the British Army. Her father is M.I.A, presumed dead by enemy fire. Struck with grief Elleanora retreats into herself, unable to make herself feel anything except sadness and loneliness of losing yet another parent. With the war tipping Elleanora and the peace over the edge, the Pevensies siblings arrive. And at the end, the five will share a secret. One for their eyes only. [DISCLAIMER: I do not own Narnia nor C.S Lewis' characters, except Elleanora [Ella/Nora] Carter and her father]
