Once a promising business man in the foreign trade sector of his company, Rivaille is fired because of Eren. Eren and Rivaille now work at the same bar and some how it also happens to be the bar the guys from their old work come to for beers. No wonder Eren said he knew the place well. Though it gets worse, somehow Eren talked Rivaille into moving in with him to save money cost since Eren has a large apartment.
