Open you history books, Do you see the missing? Do you see the lost? Do you see the dead? Do you see my name? There's an answer to this: no. You of this age are so unaware of entire cultures, countries, races, wiped away. And without a single page entitled to our name. Do you see my name? Why is that? Because history is written by those who win the war. And those who win the war, will erase every trace of you, if they please. Thousands of lives lost, living or not, are lost. Their names all replaced with a single word. 'Deaths' 'Casualties' 'Victims' Do you see my name? Name- names- our names- your name-mine. The word becomes numb on the tongue and foreign. Decades later, I'm sad to say, even I have forgotten my name. Open your history books, Do you see my name? I believe you might. A form of it. Four words takes its place. The Salem Witch Trials.

~Completed~ Everyone in the town of Salem Massachusettes is superstitious beyond belief. Grown men won't even go anywhere near the notorious 'Devil's Hanging' Bridge, named because of all the witch hangings in 1692. Donna, a ten year old girl who lives there isn't deterred by the stories of the bridge, so she makes her way across it... or almost does anyway. It isn't until a near death experience and a terrifying encounter with a demon that she starts to realize that the stories were true... or half true. After striking an interesting connection with the demon she starts to realize that maybe they aren't so different from humans, and that maybe the stories she's been fascinated with her whole life aren't telling the whole tale. You can learn about TW's and other stuff in the preface. I hope you enjoy:) Also yes I know there are tiny grammatical and spelling errors in this book. And yes I am too lazy to change them. I am very much not an English major.
