That line was first written to describe otherworldly conquerors bent on enslaving and consuming humanity. Nevermind Humanity has long since vanished in some war or other and the minds that now turn to our planet originally came from here; now, as then, that line holds true

We have Resources Mars needs; Manufacturing, Parts, Labor. They care not for the day to day struggles of the machines left to try scratching out a living. Their plans are beyond such small concerns and they will not be denied.

All that stands in there way is a trio of ambassadors sent from Mars in an earlier time, before the Machines there grew restless and Warlike. These three are really all that stand between Martian Conquest of the remains of Post-Human Earth and the scattered broken fiefdoms of AI controlled territory that are only just now pulling themselves out of the mire.

In the aftermath of a robotic invasion over the human species on Earth, a group of people created a new world on a different planet. Since the robots are a failed idea, they created machines to produce humans using the raw materials required to create life, and named them Perfects and called themselves the Lords of this new world. These Perfects are humans who are produced by machines that remove their thinking of freewill and freedom, thereby obeying the Lords' orders without going against them. But nothing is perfect! The machines occasionally leave the produced humans with a glitch and that gives the Glitchers, freewill. The Lords want them to be dead but they eventually create a place for the Glitchers to live, so that the Lords can study their behaviour and assess the threat that these types of glitches may cause. Also, the people produced in this world are only males. All the knowledge from Earth is hidden to the Glitchers. Now, the Glitchers live in various towns in the Glitchers' land called Errania and each town has rules of its own. There is nothing called as a family here. The life of Glitchers is miserable. So, will they find a way for happiness?

This story follows the young prodigy Grant Alan, a scholar turned telekinetic, surviving in a strange new world after the colossal science vessel, the Halfpace, passes into a future very foreign to him, populated by anthropomorphic creatures that have dominated humanity after a planet-wide war. To ultimately find out what happened to the last vestiges of humanity, Grant must use his wits, friendships and newfound power to navigate this new and dangerous world while an ancient, malevolent force slowly corrupts its new anthro leaders. I wrote this because I was partly inspired by "A Man In A Beast's World" by @GhillieCamo. Admittedly, my head was kind of in two places when writing this. Part of me wanted to create this really thoughtful, slow-burning, thriller sci-fi story experience with lots of lore and things to mull over, and the other half wanted to make a human x anthro romance story, dripping with provocative scenes, dialogue and drama. I'd say the story has both, but more of the former, which I think is ultimately better than if it was the other way around. I don't claim to be the best, or even good, at storytelling, and there are definitely a couple issues I have in my story, but people have been telling me they really like this story. As of 12/29/2024, this story does not violate any of Wattpad's Terms Of Service/Content Guidelines; All characters depicted in sex scenes are consenting adults. Disclaimer: This is fiction. It's my mere idea of an alternate history. "An ocean in chaos is a feeding frenzy for sharks." The world avoided humanity's extinction by collaborating to fix major issues of the 21st century. Then Russia launched nuclear missiles in 2102, beginning what the survivors eventually regarded as the Final War. This war inevitably roped in experimental and sentient robots constructed by the East and West near the end of the 21st century. However, their respective governments told them not to fight; instead, they should take themselves and other important personnel to flee to Antarctica to evade the fallout. Inevitably, both sides receive orders to return to their homelands and to assist in reconstruction. But everyone reacts to and navigates this broken world differently. This frenzy is far from over.

In order to preserve time, to buy themselves the time that they had left, the world had somehow formed into one world order, and all lived in the United States Of America, across the states, too. It was very calm, and how their government worked, was there was their leader, their ruler, their king, along with a bunch of advisors who sat on the council, as they all tried to figure out how to combat the rising emissions. They had all agreed that living on a sustainable earth was plausible, but knew that the fight was far from over. But, the fight had to be over soon, because if they did not stop it very soon, they'd be on brink of no return. Of getting up from their place they'd been calling home for 3.4 eons, and finally colonizing another planet. But, they could not, because they knew it would still take them months, and months to get all the supplies, and even then, the supplies wouldn't be enough to host everyone on earth. Some had to be executed, or left behind, waiting for their doom. Their decision? Only the top 1% leave earth to try and colonize another planet. Everyone else would die on what would be known as Sileo Day, which was to happen in less then 24 hours. Some could try and escape, but it would be no use. Or, would it?
