Adrian was born to kill in the society of the Elite and the Normals. The Elitists were a group of people gathered by the government to regulate the rising human population by mass-murdering non-Elitists, known as the Normals, once every month in a game called the Hunting. It was a world of the survival of the fittest and only the strongest and fastest Normals will survive. Adrian had begun his official training as an junior Elitist for six years without a problem except for the occasional feelings of guilt until one day, he meets Alyssa, a Normal determined to end the reign of the Elite over the Normals even if it means risking her life. Things become complicated when Adrian begins to experience feelings for Alyssa that he had never felt for any other girl before. He has to make a final decision between love or remaining loyal to the Elite and his dad, the leader of the Elitists.
