"Oh really? How do I know you aren't POISONING HIM?"
"Please. If I were poisoning him, I'd do it at the end and excuse it for some sort of disinfecting shot. Plus, poison takes a while to act on the body, not instantly stinging."
**********
Tanith.

That's the name of the war medic that Cody and Professor Pikalus bring in to help with battles, but she ends up being a lot more than just someone to heal them.

She ends up being a friend, someone who can heal you with magic or medical supplies, and comfort you after you have a nightmare. She ends up being a fighter, willing to defend Atlantis and those she holds dear to her heart, until her last breath. This hybrid of a snake and human ends up helping in many occasions, whether it be whales, nightmares, escapes criminals or yetis, she's there for you.

However, Tanith makes a small error. She grows too attached to Atlantis' greatest rival, and now can't stop herself from gaining a loyalty to him too. With both Atlantis and the other side in her heart, she must bend over backwards to remain loyal to them both, even if it means she'll have to try and stop a war. Tanith hopes it won't come to that.

Atlantis isn't as safe as anyone wants it to be, and when more and more threats pop up and try to destroy this beautiful place, everyone must play their part to stop it.

Note: Though this plot, Tanith and physical story is mine, the characters belong AtlantisCraft and such. I do not claim to own that. You may proceed.

Sora has no place in the world. She is meant to be a strong warrior, with the ability to shift into a wolf. She is none of those things, and looked down upon because of it. It brings shame to her, it brings shame to her family, and worst of all, it brings shame upon her prideful and strong brother. There is but one person who truly knows and loves her, but does he really? Magic is not the weapon of a warrior, magic is the weapon of a coward. Sora has been told that all her life, but she has magic within her, recently awakened, and so she has begun to doubt it. Still, witchcraft is punishable by death, and so Sora must be careful with her practices, lest she lose all she has. Sora is a better witch than wolf, though not by much, but she still pursues that craft in spite of the dangers. Her place in the world is a dangerous one, but will it last? The world she lives in is a dangerous one, and such a life as hers rarely ends happily. Disclaimer: this is a short prequel, Sora's story does not conclude with this one. If you finish this book and go "oh, that's the end?" it's because it's not the end. I'm writing a trilogy called Mortance that explores the larger world that this takes place in and concludes Sora's story more thoroughly than in this book. Go read that next if you like my writing, thanks. Please leave any and all criticisms you might have, anything you like and anything you dislike, I want to make this as good as I can. P.S. the cover is literally just a drawing I made in physics class, I know it's bad, I'm not an artist.

I could feel a cold, icy gaze barrel straight through my soul. Actual crystal shapes frosted white marked the edges of the creature's vision. A long, thin tail with a thin frost layer gently wrapped around me. Normally I would've run, escape through the trees to the best of my abilities. But I couldn't. The icy blue gaze was hypnotizing. The dragon gently puffed frost in my face. Small, gleaming white teeth caught the snow. No matter how brilliant this dragon looked, however, I couldn't fight back the only other thought that was running through my head. I was gonna die. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kiara has lived on her own for as long as she can remember. But when she finds her fate caught with the Dragon Riders, secrets are uncovered about her identity, and she has to choose between fighting her father...or facing the only friends she'd ever known in battle. Secrets, betrayal, and lies, all circling Kiara's life as she struggles to fit in with the Riders, and find where her fate truly stands. OLD: While I'm very proud for this being my first completed major project, it's still old as hell, several things make 0 sense and there's a lot of random convoluted stuff and little consistency, especially in characters. This was something I wrote to escape when I was down and often sleep-deprived so I just wrote what I felt like in the moment. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ITS SEQUELS. If that isn't your thing, I wouldn't recommend this.

A world at war . . . Two rivals for the throne . . . If chosen by the six magets, one will have the throne for their own . . . In the land of Magic, all sorts of beings live together. But during this Era, the land is at war. A unicorn prince and a mermaid queen are warring to see who would be the next ruler of the land. To stop the war, a special group of people must choose. But those people are emotionally unstable magets. Luna is a Night Bringer dragon, but she isn't pureblood. She also has the abilities of a Water Sprayer and the scales of a Weather Wing. Under normal circumstances, nothing would be wrong, just would have trouble controlling extra powers. But the Night Bringers of the continent weren't open to hybrids in their species. That fact caused Luna so much pressure and stress to hide and cost her a spot at her dream school. But then comes the faithful day when she is revealed to be a part of a prophecy of her and five other magets that would stop the war. (A prophecy Luna had first, but that's beside the point) She and the other five are then thrust into a plot of conspiracy, secrets, and death, surrounded by people they don't know if they can trust or not. The pressure for Luna is only amplified by the added factor of might not being able to survive. Is this really how it's supposed to go? Is Luna going through all of this pressure for a good reason? Or are there factors she hasn't even considered? Inspired by Wings of Fire and Upside-down Magic THERE WILL BE BLOOD AND DEPRESSING THEMES! BUT TUI T. SUTHERLAND SEEMED TO GET AWAY WITH IT, AND I CAN TOO! Edit: [I am editing this story to make the story clearer and make more sense, just to let you know]
