Alexa is a teen with a past she can't forget, and the scars to prove it. She has the freedom to do as she wants, but chooses to stay in a small town, trying her best to live a normal life.
Jacob is the all-American boy that every father wants his little girl to meet. He is polite, smart, respectful, active, and driven. Essentially, the 'perfect boyfriend.' Jacob is also bored with his so-called 'perfect' life and yearns for a break in the monotony. He certainly gets that when Alexa crashes into his life- literally.
