~Fanfiction based on the TV show Downton Abbey~ What if Sybil Crawley wasn't the youngest daughter of Lord and Lady Grantham? In 1896, Cora gave birth to a girl. The girls parents named her Evangeline Martha Crawley. Evangeline was always by the piano with her grandmother Violet (Dowager Countess of Grantham), playing with her elder sisters and the family dog, or baking biscuits with Mrs. Patmore while singing a tune the Countess had taught her. It was then that she was known as: 'The Angel of the Abbey'. Little did the residents of Downton Abbey know that July 15th 1901, Evangeline's 5th birthday, would take a turn for the worst. Not only was it her birthday, it was the day of the summer festival that is held yearly at Downton Abbey. Many people came to celebrate and have a wonderful time with their families, playing games, and grabbing a rare opportunity to socialise with Lord and Lady Grantham, and the Dowager. However, a fire had broken out inside the building. Screams of panic could be heard over Lord Grantham ordering everyone to evacuate and immediately contact the fire brigade, but what the family didn't know was that Evangeline had gone missing. What happened to her? Where could she be? For many years, people have searched for her, only to come up with nothing. A few people pretended to be the missing Crawley as years went by, but none had succeeded. And so, as time moved forward, so did many people, but the loss of the youngest Crawley remains forever in the hearts of the residents of Downton Abbey, including the staff. Will the Crawley family ever find their angel again? (This will follow through season 1 - season 6) #1 in downtonabbey as of 03/09/2024 **Disclaimer: I own absolutely nothing, with the exception of my OC's, and of course, this fanfic. The Journey of Living at Downton

52 parts Ongoing

A young girl from the 21st century, where Downton Abbey doesn't exist on the TV, ends up in the world of Downton Abbey. Not a typical one where it is another Crawley sister or where she's from a world where Downton Abbey is a TV show. This story has been uploaded onto different platforms, Ao3 and fanfiction.net -- Emma's life used to be fairly normal one for someone living in England in the early 21st century, nothing peculiar but that all changed when in 2021, at 19, she woke up in the past, more specifically 1909. Emma turned up in Yorkshire, England on a mild day (what else) in the grounds of an estate called Downton Abbey. After literally falling onto the floor right in front of said owners of the estate, the Earl and Countess of Grantham, Robert and Cora Crawley.
