The usual starter pack of some character being the first girl in the glade and blah, blah, blah. Yeah..not what I'm gonna do. Let's start like this, trapped, hopeless, with no way out. That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time. Teresa wasn't the first girl to appear in the maze. Before Thomas, a girl was sent by mistake, with nothing but a vial of antidote in her hands and frantic scribbles on her arm with warnings for the Gladers. Her coming marks the beginning of a new era in the Maze. A drama featuring an OC, some Grievers, would-you-rather questions, and a little bit of romance. --- This is an idea that I've been playing out in my head for two years, now. It originally started as inserting myself into the world of The Maze Runner, and progressed from there. When I would work my summer job, I would daydream about the happenings, conversations, and friendships developing naturally over a period of time, and found myself engaged in the drama. Like a tv show, the episodes drew themselves and picked up where they left off, satiating my curiosity and giving more depth and background to the characters I loved so much.Concluída
What if?
What if... Teresa never went with Thomas when she died, but instead, got the serum and went to try to save Newt without anyone knowing. Everyone would be gone to the Safe Heaven thinking Newt and Teresa are dead. But 1 month later, Newt woke up, healthy again and cured. Newt and Teresa then make a team to try and get back to the Safe Heaven where is everyone. This is an alternative end for The Maze Runner : The Death Cure (because I'm clearly still not over Newt's death and I'm so mad that they killed him, so yeah...) The drawling series of clicks was only making my heart beat faster. They were getting closer. I took off running again, faster this time. I couldn't stop running. If I did, surely I would die. My throat was dry and my skin slick with sweat. I'm sure I looked like a complete wreck but there was no one out here to judge me. (This is the 2nd part to my other story "The Maze trials: A Gally Fanfiction". Second Book to Malevolent Maze "Teresa!" I sat upright after Thomas called out her name. Groggily, I sat up and rubbed my eyes before looking over at the bed opposite mine. She wasn't in her bed but I could see the light on in the bathroom. I could hear them trying to get into the room. I rolled my eyes and opened the door. "What the heck guys?" I grumbled, staring at the group of boys before me. Minho and Newt eyed me curiously. "Why are you trying to break into our room?" "Where's Teresa?" Thomas demanded. I thumbed behind me at the bathroom. "Over there. What's wrong with you." He slipped past me into the room. "He thought Teresa might be in trouble." Newt said, rolling his eyes.
