Music is pumping in my ears as I was walk around the room trying to find my best friend.
"HEY MIKAELA!" my best friend, Rachel, screamed in my ear.
"HI!!" I screamed back, while pulling her to the VIP room.
"You finally made it to the party!"
"Yeah I can't believe you invited so many people! Literally the whole school is here to say goodbye to me."
"You gotta do what you gotta do for your best friend, plus this is way better than just our squad." she said way quieter than before.
"I guess... but it seems like we're nineteen and at a frat party, but we're thirteen in eighth grade!!" I said.
"Well yeah...whatever let's go! This is your last day in Minnesota and I want to make it the best before you are in Arizona." Rachel said while pulling me back into the blasting room filled with people, half of them being strangers for me.

There are black dots in my vision. I hear yells and calls after me, but they are faded. I burst through the first door I find. A mob of people await me, but they aren't about to arrest me. I wasn't sure how to respond with his face so close to mine, after all this time. I could feel his breath fanning me, and there was nothing but hatred in his eyes. "I did." Seth spoke from behind him right as I opened my mouth to say something. There was a moment of silence as Daniel glared at his best friend, then back to me. He stood up straight and continued to look into my eyes. "You got off easy this time." He walked away, and the party went back to normal.
