A silhouette of a person could be seen standing on a beach alone. It was a young man barely at the age of twenty, standing with his head and hands raised up to the sky. Above his head stormy clouds could be seen, just like that a lighting hit the young man and he found himself death. For the great surprise of the young man he woke up, into a different world into a new and somehow troublesome body. Follow this young man as he is trying his best to survive inside this pseudo RPG world, fighting crazy monsters and just trying to survive.

„The sunset is beautiful, isn't it?", she asked, the sound of her voice strained, as if she hadn't been talking for a long time. The boy sat next to her, staring forward into the leaving sun. He didn't even look at the young woman when she spoke. Yet still he could feel himself, only a small part of himself, longing to hear more of her voice. It used to calm him down, singing soft lullabies whenever nightmares haunted him, or telling stories to him and his brother. It was the only comfort he could rely on. And he ended it before it could poison him. Silence filled the vast empty space. Only a single Rowan tree swayed in the non existent wind, its branches reaching down where the two figures sat, sheltering them from any harm that may come their way. It was time to leave this place again. He couldn't stay here for long. He hugged his knees tight, unconsciously swaying back and forth as he did so. Maybe, if he hugged himself hard enough, he could stay here and listen to one of her stories again? Just one short story. His efforts were in vain. He realized that when his hands and feet started to disappear, just like they have done thousands of times before. There was no way things could continue the way they were now. He knew he had to stop, but a selfish part of him was still holding onto that hope that everything would be okay once he opened his eyes. „Auntie,", he said, preparing his next words. „I... really prefer sunrises." 0101011101101111011100100110110001100100011100000110110001100101011000010111001101100101011100110110000101110110011001010110110101100101

Waking up face down in mud sucks any day of the week. But coming around in the sludge of a strange realm...? Well, that just redefines a bad day altogether. Trapped in an unfamiliar world, sixteen-year-old Quinn is frustrated that none of the strange Tree People appreciate his urgency to get back home to earth. Now he is faced with a choice that could change the course of his life: escape and find his own way home, or stay and help them find the cause of the poison ravishing their world. When the mind-reader unlocks one of the ancient mysteries of the Tree People it points to the only way of saving them from annihilation: they have to find the Power of Light. What exactly that means, the mind-reader doesn't reveal, but his next warning comes as a shock to all present: finding the mysterious Power of Light can only be done with the help of the dangerous enemy tribe whom they once called family. Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. To Quinn's constant frustration, the aqua-eyed pixie makes it clear that she's not there to make friends. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.

Darkness surrounded me as I woke up, disoriented and gasping for breath. My mind was clouded with confusion, and my body felt heavy and sluggish. It took a moment for my senses to adjust and for me to realize that I was no longer in the virtual reality simulator that had been my prison for so many years. I sat up and looked around, my eyes slowly adjusting to the dimly lit room. It was empty except for a single figure standing in the shadows. As I focused on the person, a sense of familiarity washed over me. It was a girl with long, flowing hair and piercing eyes that seemed to hold the weight of the world. "Who are you?" I managed to croak, my voice barely above a whisper. She stepped forward, her gaze never leaving mine. "I am a goddess," she said, her voice carrying a hint of sorrow. "And I am here to offer you a chance at a new life." The words hung in the air, filling the room with a heavy silence. A new life? It seemed too good to be true. But as I looked into her eyes, I saw a glimmer of sincerity. There was something about her presence that commanded my attention, that made me believe there was more to her than met the eye. "Why me?" I finally asked, my voice filled with a mix of curiosity and skepticism. She sighed softly, her expression softening. "You were caught in an accident, one that I caused unintentionally. It left you paralyzed, trapped in a simulated world. I cannot undo what has been done, but I can offer you a chance to start anew, to live a life free from the confines of that prison."
