"Bianca what the fuck was that?" David says to me as we walk inside his house. The whole car ride was silent, no one uttered a word and I don't know why. I hate silence. Silence allows the brain to think about a lot of shit over and over. He already had a lot of things replaying in his head. He probably thought about how to reply to my comments. He just had this whole conversation planned out already. "What was what?" I reply sitting down on the couch. I sigh of relief that I finally got a chance to take off my heels. "Y'all got something going on between y'all, don't y'all?" David replies standing up "I don't know what you're talking about" I unzip my jacket sitting it down beside me. I knew my nonchalantness would piss him off. "Bianca stop fucking playing with me" David spat back. He's not the type to raise his voice during an argument. You knew he was mad when he starts cursing at you and says your name all in the same sentence. "I'm not doing anything. I don't know what or who you're talking about David" I take out my phone and start to text Parish telling her how the event went. "You fucking Chris aren't you?" I just looked up at him making a stank face and then back down at my phone. "Hello? I'm talking to you" David stands in front of me. I wasn't in the mood to bicker back and forth with him right now. I could've just told him yes, but he didn't want to know the truth. He smacks my phone out of my hand. I look up at him "Are you fucking him?!" He yells at me and that took me off guard. "No!" "Is this...the...suicide hotline?" "I...um, yes?" "...Are you asking or telling?" "...Telling?" "What would you do if I told you I wanted to die?" "I would beg you not to." "Would you, stranger? Would you really?" "I would." Aurora Glass was raised in a sleepy town, completely sheltered from the darker things in life. That's why she doesn't know how to react when she gets a call from a man looking for a suicide hotline. Out of fear he'll actually commit suicide if he doesn't get help immediately, she lies and pretends to be a hotline worker. Parker Hollowell is on the edge. He's slipping into the void, but unlike some he's aware of it. In a desperate attempt to save his own life, he calls a suicide hotline. The woman on other end sounds very sketchy and suspiciously young. Not that it matters. He's just glad someone pretends to care about his life and his problems. When a cynical, depressed man unintentionally lets a bubbly, optimistic woman into his life, he has no choice but to bend to her will and see that maybe, there was more to life then he thought. Lauren took out her phone and in her drunken state, clumsily searches for the taxi contact (that she hasn't ever used but keeps in her phone just because) and hits call. The other person answers and Lauren starts to speak while her phone shakes in her hand. "Hey, I'm at this club called Wind Down and I don't really know how to get home. Also, everything's kind of a blur which is weird since I have 20/20 vision. Also, there are people here trying to take advantage of me. I drank some stuff but I'm not that drunk- but I certainly can't drive in this state...can you pick me up right now?" "...Sure." A girl's voice replied. "I need you to stay right outside of the club though. Be careful, please." A tone of worry came into the girl's voice. "Ok...please hurry."
