Almost twenty years after my father died I found out he had lied about where he'd worked while we were being raised. Suspecting him of being a serial killer led me to discover that he had worked at Area 51 from 1968 to 1988.

The Unseen Thread
Growing up on our little farm in the late 1960s, life's pretty simple-too simple, if you ask me. I don't know what's happening, but it's like the world's whispering secrets I can't quite hear. Then the worst hits: my older brother, David, dies in Vietnam. It's a punch to the gut, leaving me drowning in grief and questions, and that's when I start noticing these powers-things I can do that don't make sense, like maybe I could turn back time and bring him home. The more I dig into what's inside me, though, the more I realize there's something bigger out there-a truth that stretches way beyond our crumbling farm, and it's pulling me toward it whether I'm ready or not.
