The New Girl

Katerina Ortega just recently moved to America from her home country-Spain- where she reunites with her cousin Lorenzo who also moved to America four years ago. Lorenzo, being Vice Captain of their high-schools football team and also very popular, introduces Katerina to his friends. Here, she meets Grayson Clarke, every females living Greek god, one of Lorenzo's best friends and also Captain of the high-schools football team.

However, Grayson has the schools reputation of being a ''bad boy'', in fact his whole group of friends have that reputation. But it is a reputation that is held up by rumours. Grayson isn't the bad boy that everyone makes him seem.

Katerina being the feisty- Spanish girl that she is, can't help with her sarcastic comebacks and tenacious remarks towards Grayson. But there's another attribute: mystique. The Latin lady is, to Grayson something of a mystery. A mystery because he can not seem to understand why she is able to keep him on his toes, and gets his heart beating faster each time she is around. Okay, perhaps not as mysterious as an Inuit, but mysterious nonetheless.

They both have a past, some darker than the other. A past that turned them into the people they are today. They both have secrets that in time begin to unravel between the two of them.

Growing up, Katerina was told by her mother that a girl will fall in love once, and get her heartbroken once. Could Grayson be the guy she falls in love with? Or could he be the same guy who breaks her heart?

Being the new girl isn't always fun, but when you become friends with most outgoing party goers, it becomes a joy ride. But that's only to a certain extent. Parties unleash secrets, secrets that are meant to be kept buried.
