Out of all the gods that the Winchester brothers have faced, Morpheus may be their biggest challenge yet. Dean, fighting with the inner turmoil caused by his mother leaving yet again, is affected by the God of Sleep the most, having been plunged into a series of realities where he must relive his darkest hours, dredge up old guilt, and fight past demons- both tangible and not. And, once he finally breaks free of Morpheus's torment, Dean will have to think long and hard about how he will continue on with his previously colorless life. Is Dean truly happy Hunting anymore?
Whether or not Dean chooses to stay would have drastic repercussions, not only on him, but Castiel, Sam, and Heaven itself. Because those visions beg the question:
