Whoever has had a hard life had no idea what they were talking about.  A hard life is laying on the side of the street nearly dying, struggling to walk. Elissa Daniels is taken in by a wonderful couple, Mike and Carol. The first couple of months was okay but never hearing the voice of the girl you're trying to to take care of in your own home is difficult. Mike and Carol are inexperienced in dealing with a damaged and hurting girl so they do what they think is best. Send her to the Desoan Institution.
