-Alicia squealed when she saw the large wrapped box sitting in my arms.
"Is this for me!?" She screamed in excitement.
I laughed and nodded my head, gesturing for her to open it, "Well I don't see any other nine year old birthday girls in the room. So it must be yours.".
Alicia tore apart the wrapping paper like she would candy and jumped when she saw her present.
"Omg Jessie this is exactly what I wanted!!!", I smiled at her chubby excited face. "Well good because it was hard as all hell to find. Quite expensive too. What are you gonna name him?"
She quickly picked up the slightly heavy wooden dummy and faced it toward me.
"Hello Jessie! I am Dom! Your new best friend!", Alicia said in her manliest voice.
I chuckled at her despite being a little creeped out by the thing. Something about its wide black glassy eyes made me feel more on edge. I felt like it was actually watching me. It gave me the heeby jeebies.
