Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi; it was a bumpy road from the start, but nonetheless, they were inseperable yet dangerously codependant at times. Scott could never love anyone else. And that's the problem. Mitch is so free and capricious, nobody could ever keep up.
Its their last year of high school, they're still so young and beautiful. But it hurts.

Scott is a hard-core believer in true love. How could he not be, considering all the successful relationships surrounding him? His parents are going on their 35th wedding anniversary, his sister is newly married, his best friend is engaged, and half of the students in his 3 PM discussion section seem to be deeply infatuated with one another. So, he hasn't found "the one" yet, but that doesn't stop him from believing that he's out there. Scott's nothing special, so there's no reason he shouldn't find love, just like everyone else.
