Princess Charming
Every culture has its own version of Cinderella, whether it features glass slippers and fairy godmothers, or enchanted trees and magic fish, the love story endures and goodness is always rewarded. But in this story, Ella has been replaced by Elliot and her beloved prince is a princess severely lacking in charm. Elliot's step-father expects him to work from dawn until dusk, leaving him no time to miss the life of happiness and comfort he once knew. When the rest of his family are invited to a series of balls, held in honour of the Princess Charmaine's return from school, Elliot longs for a night off and the opportunity to reconnect with his childhood friend. But his step-father is busy plotting how his own son can win Charmaine's heart and doesn't want Elliot getting in the way. They will soon discover that Charmaine won't be easily charmed. She doesn't need a husband to rule by her side and she's going to use these balls to prove it. That is, until a friend from her past reappears and she discovers that falling in love doesn't have to mean losing control. Princess Charming is a gender-reversal retelling of Cinderella and a companion story to Mirrored Snow.Complete

Feet Aren't Made for Walking [BEING PUBLISHED!] #OnceUponNow
One of the winners of the Once Upon Now contest! Feet Aren't Made for Walking will be renamed Truth Be Told and will be published by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster, on October 11, 2016 in the Once Upon Now Anthology! ---------------------------- Leo Clark is having a really bad day. He's been transported into a topsy-turvy alternate universe (not a good thing when your mom's expecting you home for dinner), he's recently acquired wooden extremities and is physically incapable of telling a lie (an even worse thing when you pride yourself on not sharing your emotions), and his little sister has been kidnapped, mistaken for the lost princess of the Land of Pittsborough (the worst thing of all because...please refer back to the part about Mom making dinner). In order to save his sister and find a way home, Leo will have to confront an evil queen who lives in an office cubicle, a few mice with horrible fashion sense, and a girl with green skin and webbed toes (but hey, at least she's kind of cute). And he'll have to do it all before the clock strikes midnight or risk being trapped in Pittsborough forever. Now if only he could figure out how to walk on his wooden feet... --------------------------- This short story is a modern day fairytale mashup, partially inspired by Pinocchio, The Frog Prince, and many others. Enjoy!Complete

Cinderella After Midnight
Once upon a time, Cinderella tried the shoe on, it fitted perfectly. So she married the Prince and they lived happily ever after? Bullshit. The truth was... As soon as they entered the bedroom, the Prince slammed Cinderella against the wall roughly, leaning closer and whispered into her ear. "Didn't I say I'll catch you, Cinderella, or do you prefer Amelia?" Amelia shivered under the Prince's words. His voice sounded as cold as ice and at that second, she asked herself whether it wasn't a mistake to show up at the ball? Yet, what else could she do? There hadn't been another choice. Pushing the prince away from her with all her strength, she replied. "If you think you won, you're wrong. This is just the beginning." This story is anything but a classic Fairy Tale. Nothing is what it seems. What if there was more behind this bedtime story?
