Dan was just a schizophrenic boy with a dark, broken past, and a brain that painted a reality better than ~reality~.

Phil was just the clandestine, mysterious, cheery, colorful, bubbly, cheese-hating new kid at school, who found the joy out of every reality.

Dan was a bullied outcast because he had "imaginary friends" and believed in magic all up until 10th grade, when his imaginary world vanished into thin air.

Phil instantly became popular, but he was drowning in a pool of secrets; one of those secrets weighing him down all to much;

Phil was different.
