An interesting Night in an interesting Saloon

This started as an exercise to get some thoughts out of my head so I could sleep. A few friends asked me to share it so I posted it here.
An adventure story that will aim to blend several RPG type game characters from several genres into one adventure. Included will be as many cameos as I can get permission for. I've yet to get permission to use the characters that are the works of others. If the story moves along I'll formally ask the writer(s) for permission to use their characters in a cameo appearance. If you recognize your character and wish him/her/it removed I will happily remove the story or edit whichever is most workable. (also willing to accept your edits for your characters).

If you have any comments or suggestions feel free to let me know. Because other than a late night mental dump I'm not really sure where to take this tale.
