In my life, there's three kinds of people. One -- the spawns of Satan that apparently have made it their life's mission to cruelly crush their target's any chance of happiness. Two -- the kindred spirits. These are the friends for life, the deeply-connected people you have in life that make everything all rainbows and gummy bears even if Number One people are everywhere. Three -- that single soul. The kindred-spirit-that-could-probably-be-another-spawn-of-Satan that affects you deeply more than anyone else. Good or bad, this person marks their existence in your life. I'm pretty sure he was the third one. I was sure he'd never want to see my face again, even after half the crap I pulled. The feeling was mutual of course. Sadly, high school has a way of playing with fate. I'm just not sure if I'm up to play it's game.

[BxB] "You just don't meet people organically any more," Thomas overheard his sister say, her friends humming in agreement as they sipped their wine. He rolled his eyes as they swirled their glasses, acting like they were 30 instead of 20, pretending like they had their shit together while they still lived off their parent's pocket money. "The most organic thing that could happen is if you 'accidentally' throw a melon in front of a hot guy at the supermarket and get him to pick it up," one of her friends snorted, followed by the clink of glasses. Thomas snorted at the ridiculous idea. There was no way that a tactic like that could work in this universe, not with the advent of Tinder and online dating. Life wasn't a romantic comedy. Not at all. But what happens when you mix Thomas, a market, a hot guy and a dropped peach together? Well, as life would have it - something organic. Cover by @meha-k
