A turn of events. A weird start of a friendship. Let's hope all goes well in this timeframe take of a Normal life AU for Joker, and Batman.
Note: in this story Bruce's parents never die. Joker isn't insane. Also other characters have different occupations. Oh yeah and Harley is Jokers sister.

As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems.
