"This is the beginning, isn't it?" She asks, hair rising up every now and then ever so gently, gazing out at the sea, her arms wrapped around her legs. Her eyes were glimmering from the sun, it's golden rays shining alone with that sparkle in her eyes, a faint smile on her lips, so close to curiosity.
"Yeah, it is..." I say, my voice low as I lower my head onto my knees. My legs were surrounded my cold, my insides warm and fuzzy, the long sleeves draping over my legs.
"How could you tell what I meant?" She asks, her mouth now up in a small questioning smile.
"Because never in my life did I think I would be able to see you smile like that again." I reply with a glad smile, watching her smile back.
"I'm glad I can. And now I know I will a lot more." She lets out a light laugh, smiling happily, truly believing her words whole-heartedly.

This story is y/n (you) falls in love with a football player (an oc of mine). More info: Y/N is a 16 going on 17 year old female, in her Junior year of high school. It's her first day at a new school, a random person Airdropped her something and they begin to chat. This mystery guy is 17 and also his Junior year and is a football player. "Alright, let's get you up," some one said kneeing next to number 22. "No no, I'm fine. Help them, they may be out, he is not responding to me." 22 insisted. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself.
