What happens when a setter starts going deaf? Sugawara Koushi is an 18 year old setter, whom has one problem. For the past year, his hearing has been deteriorating quickly. Doctors have no explanation and give him a total of 2 weeks until he goes deaf completely. Thus, Suga skips practices, taking courses in sign language. Daichi, Karasuno's captain and Sugawara's best friend, hasn't failed to notice the shift in the silver haired males attitude. The way he looked lost when someone was talking, asking people to repeat what they said. It was all confusing. Most of all, how distant Suga seemed. It worried him. Sugawara dreaded the day he would no longer hear the soothing voices of his team mates. The day he would no longer hear the tone of Daichis laugh and the way he spoke. Days ticked by like seconds on a clock. What would he do about playing volleyball. After all, volleyball is the sport of communication.
