yes, this is an x reader high school au because i'm basic ;;
also sorry! this is a fem!reader thing (mainly because i tried writing it with they/them pronouns but i kept confusing myself..) but i'm planning on writing a male!reader

(y/n) is your typical teenager. obsessed with fandoms and has no social life what-so-ever, is mentally married to a fictional character, and admires ice skating ever since she was little. she was put up for adoption at the young age of 6 years old but now has a foster family that gladly took her in and cared for her.
she's been online-schooled her whole life and now this year, junior year, she is finally going to a public school and is scared shitless about it. hell, she barely even knew how to socialise!
she thought she would just be outcasted by others for what she likes and would be that one girl with no friends.
but little did (y/n) know that her high school life was taking a turn for the best.
