Submerged Stories
Long story short, this is a book of stories about my life that I don't tell anyone else, expressed through the beautiful art of poetry. Poetry is my way of finding myself, and hopefully you as readers will be able to find yourself as well. TRIGGER WARNING: These poems cover sensitive topics such as depression, self-harm, anxiety, suicide, eating disorders, etc. Please don't read if any of these could trigger you. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. Dear mind, you are weird!!
In times of solitude and despair I tend to drift away into a gloomy state, just thinking about how if, I could pen down these thoughts into words and document them for the purpose of reference and comfort. This is a collection of some poems and short stories that I've written. This was actually an assignment in class, but I thought I wanted to share it with everybody. (I'm really sorry, I'm not very good with writing poems and I can only write in repetition.) Life experiences
I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences.
