In Clever Reflections, Cinna and Salem are thrown into a parallel universe where everything is created by interpretation of individuals' perspectives, wants, wishes, and expectations. They must learn to navigate this dangerous new world and figure out some way to get back through the mirror. However, while they pass trials, dodge bullets, and daringly escape from tyrannical masterminds, they begin to wonder how different - and how alike - the two worlds actually are...

He runs his fingers through his hair. "Clothes or attitude has nothing to do with it." I trace a circle on my thigh. "And a guy that believes otherwise is either a dick or a rapist." I smile. "Avery." "Ava." "Your brain works in wonderful ways." I get more comfortable and lean on his shoulder. "So you've said." I giggle. "I'm glad to share the same name as you." ~ A girl, a perfectionist, named Avery Jones has been in love with her childhood friend's brother for as long as she can remember. He's never noticed her, though, he doesn't really notice anyone. He's sort of an insouciant philanderer. They couldn't be any different, the only thing that connects them is their names. Oh, by the way, his name is also Avery Jones; no relation. As crazy as it might sound, it's true. Anyway, it isn't until she becomes his mentor that he finally sees her. But will this new circumstance spark a connection or show just how different they are?

Navigating the Mirror Seas requires great skill and a strong will, as the deeper one sails, the thinner the veil between the two worlds becomes, and the more reality itself warps. Ships can get trapped in pockets where the mirrored world pulls them down beneath the glass, never to return. Only the bravest-or the most desperate-dare to cross these treacherous waters, seeking power, knowledge, or something lost. At their heart lies the mysterious source of the Mirror Seas' power-an ancient artifact tied to the lost race of **mirror-walkers**, beings who once ruled both realms. Few have ventured there and lived to tell the tale, and fewer still have returned unchanged. (This novel is heavily inspired by One Piece yk the Anime... or something like that)

"What look?" "You know, just that look you always have." "You mean just my fucking face?" The analogy was embarrassing but fair enough until he muttered "or thirsty," at the end which earnt him another glare that he basically didn't notice, too busy waving at Chann and counting down on his fingers in the desperate attempt to see Chann just fucking neck whatever alcohol he was holding now. 🖤 Now Complete 🖤 What happens when looking for an escape from reality actually works, but not in the way you had thought. No one is truly alone...especially where there are reflections. For the longest time, reflections have been a big part of people's lives. They're everywhere. In water, metals, windows, mirrors. Reflections have always been been there. Without them, people wouldn't know what they look like. But have you ever stopped to think that maybe, just maybe, there's another world? A world within those reflections. Others who try to live their lives but can't because of the bond they have with the people who don't even know they exist. Two worlds. One of the reflections and one of the reflected. One watches the other through mirrors. One woman, a single devoted mom in her early twenties, has only know this way of life since the day she was born, as does everyone else. She soon finds herself teaming up with her dear friend, a forced serial killer, to find a way to break this mysterious bond their world has with the reflected. They crave freedom for themselves and future generations and they are determined to reach that goal.
