"Crawl back to hell! " A snappy voice said. Wow, I am in love... not.  
"What crawled up your ass and died?" I asked, my voice full of sarcasm.
"Oh! Er, you're not Mike? Damn, sorry lady, I thought you were-"
"Phoenix...Am I right? Phoenix Xavier Wright ?" I stated timidly. Argh, that's so stupid! He'll think you're a stalker now! Great job Venice!
"I'm not even surprised on how strangers know my name..." He muttered at the other end.
"Oh, I googl- Umm... Yeah. You shouldn't be surprised nowadays." I tried to cover up. I heard a chuckle on the other end. 
"I'm sorry miss, but I'm quite... er, crabby at this time of the ni-day. Please, call later- maybe 10:00 a.m?"
"But I can't sleep that long! I usually wake up early so the dreams will stop bugging me to- Oh wait. Er... Duly noted, ending the call in 3 seconds. 3...-"
"Wait. Are you Venice Valeriana?" I was astonished. How did he know my name? I looked at the table beside me. The phonebook. Yes that was it, he checked who it was before he answered it.
'But he thought you were some Mike dude! You can't possibly-'My beautiful mind voice protested.
'Mind voice?' I called out.
'Ye?' It said.
'SHUT. YOUR. TRAP.'
