In a world where everybody looks, acts, and thinks the same, someone with one different freckle would be odd. Even one extra hair would be odd. Even if you just had a different opinion, you would be considered insane and thrown into an asylum. But what one unfortunate child discovers might change the world. She realizes that she looks very different, and doesn't think the same as the rest of the kids in her school. She's very clever and brave, while the other kids are all afraid of even a spider. 5 year old McKenzie starts a revolution that could end either very good, or devastatingly bad.
