And a horrible mistake that changed everything...
The cold wind howled around him, and would soon turn his gloveless hands numb, not that he would notice or worry about it. He walked in a daze, not caring that taking a stroll on the beach on a cold October morning, might not be the wisest thing to do. In his left hand he held the doll, which was quietly dangling from side to side, as he step by step neared his destination, a place that he had visited constantly in the past couple of days.
He stopped and lifted his lifeless hazel eyes to look at the moss covered boulder near the seashore.
He had reached his destination.
The place, where the meaning of his life had ceased to exists.

"Ah, your sister. Bay was it? After enough torture she told us everything we needed to know about your family, including that you swim at the beach every morning. That's how we knew where you were. „The sunset is beautiful, isn't it?", she asked, the sound of her voice strained, as if she hadn't been talking for a long time. The boy sat next to her, staring forward into the leaving sun. He didn't even look at the young woman when she spoke. Yet still he could feel himself, only a small part of himself, longing to hear more of her voice. It used to calm him down, singing soft lullabies whenever nightmares haunted him, or telling stories to him and his brother. It was the only comfort he could rely on. And he ended it before it could poison him. Silence filled the vast empty space. Only a single Rowan tree swayed in the non existent wind, its branches reaching down where the two figures sat, sheltering them from any harm that may come their way. It was time to leave this place again. He couldn't stay here for long. He hugged his knees tight, unconsciously swaying back and forth as he did so. Maybe, if he hugged himself hard enough, he could stay here and listen to one of her stories again? Just one short story. His efforts were in vain. He realized that when his hands and feet started to disappear, just like they have done thousands of times before. There was no way things could continue the way they were now. The Final Smile
Raymond hadn't taken five steps when the sack suddenly moved. He froze instantly and his skipping heart started running a hundred meter race. He tried to bring down his fear by blaming the wind for the occurrence but the sack moved again, very softly, and he knew that whatever is inside that sack is responsible for the movements. He discarded his fear and moved towards the sack. He looked around in utmost fear hoping that some of the scenes in Hollywood movies would not manifest; where police men would round up good Samaritans assuming them to be murderers. The environment was utterly dark and he could not see anything asides bushes. He reached down and pulled down the loose top of the sack and what manifested before him was the face of a human being. His heart almost stopped from fear as his prediction had become reality. Raymond's breathing was not coordinated at all and he had gone pale. The face was slightly covered with mud but the entire hair was immersed in it. From the hair, he knew it had to be a girl so he pulled the sack down to the waist line of the body with his shivering hands. He looked up and nearly died of fright when he met the eyes of the girl slightly open and in his direction. He started wondering if she was a spirit or a witch sent to kill him but then he saw how pale she looked and warded off his vague thought. He glimpsed a thick mass of blood on her stomach and winced internally. She started moving uncomfortably and seemed to be doing that unconsciously. He hurriedly pulled out the sack and threw it into the bush. Without even considering the risk of picking her up, he whisked her into his arms and made for his car. Raymond is already frustrated with his relationship with Tinuke his fiance but can't end it..... Not until he met Lucy in a sack. She fought as hard as she could, the icy waves crashed down upon her. Her bones were sore, her legs so tired of kicking, yet she never gave up. "So close" she thought as she swam towards a small boat, "im almost there" she said aloud. As if saying the words out loud would help her, for her they did. It gave her strength, she swam harder and faster untill she finally reached the small wooden boat. On the boat a group awaits for her, "cassi" one of the guys said excitingly "we didnt think you'd make it, thought we'd have to fish you out" he gave her a chuckle. The other boys laughed aswell "yeah well, i didnt want to become a popsicle, ya know?" he laughed even louder "none of us wanted to" their faces went cold. "Anyways, lets get you out of that water, welcome to the crew" the boys cheered. They pulled her out of the water, with a warm blanket they wrapped her, few gave her pats on the back.
