Feren looked around him at the big chaos going on in Mirkwood. There were elves orcs and spiders all fighting together. There were already a lot of big spiders lying dead on the ground making it all even harder. He heard Tauriel scream something but he didnt heard what she said cause he was focused on a spider that was coming his way,not noticing the orc that was behind him until he felt a sudden pain on his back that made him forget everything around him.

Accompanying the group of dwarves to their home, Aearon finds herself battling both foe and feeling as she struggles to survive the dangers of middle earth. Will she allow herself to become compromised by her feelings or will she continue on her journey to prove herself. Either way, she will do whatever it takes to keep her word and help her friends while avoiding another stay in King Thranduil's dungeon, much to his displeasure. Yet the plans of the Lady are different and before he can turn around he is trapped in a forest completely different to the one he has grown up in. Adding to his confusion is the young elf Daera (pronounced: DaEra) who is clearly interested in Haldir yet she still has to fight her own demons. And her time to pick sides is running out... After a failed spider mission, Legolas is left injured beyond what the Greenwood healers can help. Thranduil, worried for his son's Fea, sends him to Imladris for help. But the unit escorting the prince is attacked on the way and Legolas, after barely escaping, then fleas to the most unlikely of places where he hides, refusing to tell anyone of his whereabouts, afraid to go to Imladris, afraid to go home. This story fills in some gaps from The Return and creates a few more that I may delve into in a later fic.
