Being Lana

16 year old mixed raced Lana Thomas lives with her mother, stepfather and half siblings in Texas.

But there she strolls rather isolated through her young life without any friends in school. She believes destiny has a grudge against her and blames her for all the bad things which started happening after her father died. Not being able to cope with Lana's pity party anymore, destiny herself decides to finally begin with Lana's true story.

So a few days later Lana is told that they're not only going to be moving towns suddenly, but moving to another STATE. To spice things up more, Rob, Lana's stepfather wants to be near his first-born son, called Carter. The problem is that it seems like Carter is out to turn her into a mentally unstable patient.

And then, there is the other half of him, his best friend called Drake who behaves the exact same way as Carter when they're around Lana. Another spoon full of teenage problems with a pinch of danger basically sums up the recipe to fully filled basket of disaster.

Moving usually means new beginnings but the question is will Lana finally find acceptance there?
